Frans Gunnar Bengtsson (1894-1954) was a great narrator who “refused clever-clever speculations, he admired heroic deeds and varied show, simply, everything which was not ordinary, which can attract. His style resembles the style of great anonymous saga narrators.” However, he always spices it up with his humour, irony and ability of caricature compression. His humour, a very absorbing story and attractive atmosphere of Viking crusades in times when the Christianity started to infiltrate the pagan North, are the main attributes of this all-puppet show of Petr Vodička.
